Sponsor a Christmas care package for our Missionaries serving overseas
The “Give to a Giver” project is an opportunity for individuals, departments, or groups to spread holiday cheer around the world by sending a little reminder of home to over 30 Loma Linda University Health overseas missionaries and their families.
These missionaries are Loma Linda University alumni, Global Service Awardees (GSA), Deferred Mission Appointees (DMA), or Adventist Health International (AHI) long-term volunteers who serve at Loma Linda University Health International Partner Sites as physicians, dentists, hospital administrators, nurses, and public health educators.
Items for packages are collected and sent out by Loma Linda University Health’s Global Health Institute (GHI).
Here’s how it works:
- Please contact Angeli Yutuc at [email protected] or 909-558-4876 to select a family by Fri., Nov. 14, 2025, by 12:00 pm.
- Drop off gifts to the GHI Office by Fri., Dec. 12, 2025, by 12:00 pm.
- Feel warm fuzzies!

- Board games/puzzles/crafts
- Cake/brownie/Cookie mix
- Vegetarian meat – canned/TVP/Soy curls
- Dried fruit/fruit leathers/freeze dried vegetables
- Protein bars/granola bars
- Mixed nuts/raw almonds/raw cashews/sesame sticks/cheese-itz
- Ranch salad dressing
- Shelf-stable cheese
- Headlamps/flashlights
- LLUH gear
- Reusable kitchen towel sheets/super absorbent and washable
- Birthday supplies: candles, sprinkles, banners, frosting
- Electrolyte powdered drink packets
- Dairy free chocolate chips/candy coated chocolate (peanut M&Ms)
- Mouse traps
