Global Conversations is a lunch-and-learn quarterly series for LLUH students, faculty, and employees to connect people and discuss global issues of interest – exploring cultures, international medicine, history, current events, training opportunities, and global health themes.
Sponsored by Loma Linda University Health in collaboration with Adventist Health International (AHI), the General Conference Departments of Education and Health Ministries, and the Consortium of Adventist Medical Education Leaders (CAMEL)
AHI is a nonprofit corporation focused on upgrading and managing mission hospitals by providing governance, consultation and technical assistance to a number of Adventist hospitals throughout Africa, Asia and the Americas. While not directly a part of the Loma Linda, AHI continues to work closely with the Global Health Institute in collaborative efforts to provide aid to hospitals in need.
World Affairs Council of Inland Southern California hosts events and resources that simulate a deeper understanding of global issues and highlight current affairs, foreign policy, trends, culture, and discussions with experts and leaders in government, journalism, health, foreign services, and the environment.
