Ishaka Adventist Hospital is a 120-bed rural hospital located in Ishaka, Bushenyi District in western Uganda. Situated approximately 61 km west of Mbarara and 329 km southwest of Kampala, the hospital serves a largely rural population across surrounding districts including Bushenyi, Sheema, Rubirizi, Mitooma, Buhweju, Kasese, and Ntungamo.
Founded in 1950, the hospital provides a range of services including inpatient care, maternity and maternal-child health, radiology, dental care, laboratory services, chaplaincy, HIV care, and a lifestyle and wellness center.
In addition to clinical services, Ishaka Adventist Hospital supports healthcare training through two affiliated institutions: the School of Allied Health Sciences and the School of Nursing and Midwifery. The hospital also administers the Ishaka Adventist Health Plan.
