Pastor Jan Brinkman (†), president of the “Adventist Mission of the Netherlands Antilles” during the sixties and seventies, had a dream to one day establish an Adventist hospital on the island of Curaçao, where the people of Curaçao could not only receive treatment and care for the physical body, but also mental and spiritual care. In June 2010 the Antillean Adventist Hospital acquired another private clinic and now consists of two campuses.
Hospital Mission: To reflect Christ through caring for the sick, restoring soul, mind and body and serving our community.
Hospital Vision: Respecting Patients, Exceeding Expectations. The AAH has identified 8 core values to support its vision. They are summarized under the acronym HI-Q-REACH, Humility, Integrity, Quality, Resilience, Enthusiasm, Accountability, Compassion and Hospitality.
